SICK OF IT!

I'm sick of being sick. I haven't been sick for like 2 years, so now that I am experiencing this head/chest/throat/fever sickness, I feel like death. I took yesterday off to lay in bed all day. I literally only got up to take a shower, then layed back down. I felt like someone had pummelled my body with rocks. Today, I am back at work not feeling much better. Am I the only one that calls in sick, and actually IS sick?? I have only had 2 sick days in 5 years. Anyways, cross your fingers that I can at least enjoy New Years Eve. Grrrrrr...

Cookie Recipe

This is the BEST Christmas Cookie recipe EVER!

Christmas Cookies:
1 cup of water
1 tsp baking soda
1 cup of sugar
1 tsp salt
1 cup of brown sugar
Lemon juice
4 large eggs
1 cup nuts
2 cups of dried fruit
1 bottle Jose Cuervo Tequila

Sample the Cuervo to check quality.

Take a large bowl, check the Cuervo again, to be sure it is of the highest quality, pour one level cup and drink.

Turn on the electric mixer...
Beat one cup of butter in a large fluffy bowl.

Add one teaspoon of sugar...Beat again.

At this point it's best to make sure the Cuervo is still OK, try another cup ... just in case.

Turn off the mixerer thingy.

Break 2 leggs and add to the bowl and chuck in the cup of dried fruit, Pick the frigging fruit off floor...

Mix on the turner.

If the fried druit gets stuck in the beaterers just pry it loose with a drewscriver.

Sample the Cuervo to check for tonsisticity.

Next, sift two cups of salt,or something.

Check the Jose Cuervo.

Now shift the lemon juice and strain your nuts.

Add one table.

Add a spoon of sugar, or somefink. Whatever you can find.

Greash the oven.

Turn the cake tin 360 degrees and try not to fall over.

Don't forget to beat off the turner.

Finally, throw the bowl through the window, finish the Cose Juervo and make sure to put the stove in the dishwasher.


CHERRY MISTMAS

Anti Christmas?

Well, Usually Christmas is my favorite holiday. But, for some reason I just cant get into it this year. I dont care about buying any gifts or anything. I have only bought a couple things and am in no hurry to go out to get more. What has happened to me? Has the media and frenzied shoppers turned me anti Christmas?? I just dont understand.

Anyway, I was thinking that maybe a plane ticket to some island for Christmas would be a great gift. Do you think it means less if the gift is to myself? Oh, well....one can dream. *sigh

TGIF...Seriously

Ok, so this has seriously been the week from hell. But, I think its getting better now. Tonight I will be venturing to the local Pizza Shoppe to drink MANY beers. I much prefer Jack n Coke, but our little town doesnt sell hard liquor within the city limits. Therefore, I will have to make do. I will say this... The Pizza Shoppe has THE COLDEST beer in the tri-state area. I love the frosty mugs they bring out. I will probably venture to the local bar afterwards to play many games of pool and listen to about a million songs out of thier extremely old jukebox. I just love how the next day my clothes and hair smell like smoke. :\ And I dont smoke.

Anyways, I bid you farewell and will hopefully be fully recovered by Monday to be back here. I'm almost sure it isnt a good idea to drink after a really rotten week. Oh well....
