Personal Revelation

I watch Joyce Meyer every day. I just love her. Todays message REALLY hit home for me. She made the comment "I dont think we can really be happy with something until we can live without it". Such as 'I'm never gonna be happy unless I get a bigger home' or 'I'm never gonna be happy if I cant have more children'. I have struggled with things like that and finally realized that I dont NEED to have more children to be happy or have a better home, or even get married. What a revelation for me! If you get 20 min...go watch this broadcast. It really was a good one!

Flu bug!

I got sick at work Tuesday afternoon and went home early. I never dreamed I would get SO sick! I had a cramping in my upper stomach with nausea, all day and all that night. I remember being excited when I had fallen asleep for a whole 20 minutes! UGH!! The next day I was almost sure something was Very wrong. I started to look at the symptom checker online and thought I might have an appendicitis!! I was reading the symptoms...Stomach cramping (got that), nausea (check), loss of appetite (yep, the mere thought of food was nauseating), back pain (yep)...OMGosh! I really might need to go to the hospital.

Well, I figured I'd force some food down myself and about a half an hour later the all popular diahrea came full force. Oh yay..... But then I miracurously fell asleep for a whole 2 hrs!! I started to feel better little by little after that. I figure I must have had a bad flu bug.

Now I'm starting to get hungry again. HOORAY! I hope NONE of you have to deal with that!

Hardees hidiousness

I banned Hardees a couple years back because it claimed to be 'fast food', yet everytime I went to get a decaf, I had to wait 20 min. So this morning I decided to give it another chance.

Well, I got behind this real old blazer that had 3 gentlemen in it. They took a really long time ordering, and when they came up to the window, he paid for the first bag and started eating. The Hardees employee was holding the second bag, but he wouldnt take it! She sat there forever and finally closed the window and went to do something else. A few minutes later he finally took the next 2 bags and then sat there awhile longer eating. After about 5 minutes, he started his blazer up and drove off.

When I got to the window, the gal said "I am soooo sorry! I guess that guy was determined to eat his breakfast before he drove off" Have you ever heard of such a thing.?

I'm trying to decide if he was: A) just really hungry, or B) the other guys bet him he wouldnt eat all his food before driving off, or C) he was just rude.

Oh well, what can you do. I just laughed and headed to work.

The Alchemist

I just finished reading 'The Alchemist' and cant say enough good things about it. I couldnt put it down and it was a really fast read. It was very inspirational and made me think that I should pursue my personal vision. Now I just need to decide which vision I should go for... I had one when I was young to be a Charlies' Angel. Then I wanted to be a teacher. I've aspired to own my own bridal shop and flower shop, and to work at home.

So lets see, I guess I could teach brides how to make thier own floral arrangements at home, while getting instructions from Bosley on my next spy mission.

Ok, I'm set. :)

Praying without ceasing

I read Joyce Meyer's "Starting your day right/Ending your day right" devotional book every morning and evening. This mornings devotion was about praying constantly. What a great reminder!! Praying throughout my day gives me a wonderful feeling. Keeping myself surrounded by Gods grace is like having a security blanket. And when things dont go as I think they should, I always have that blanket of security to keep me safe.

So pray throughout your day and see how much better you feel. Have a great day!!

Evening, morning and noon I cry out in distress, and he hears my voice.
